WEEE
Under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations distributors of electrical equipment, such as Ian Smith ( Stationers) Ltd have a legal duty to take such equipment back when it becomes waste (called 'WEEE'). Ian Smith (Stationers) Ltd have joined a WEEE Compliance Scheme with Valpak (member RM00939) and therefore offer a Take back Scheme. Waste Batteries
Under the Waste Batteries & Accumulators Regulations distributors of batteries, such as Ian Smith ( Stationers ) Ltd have a legal duty to accept back waste portable batteries. Ian Smith (Stationers) Ltd have joined a Battery Compliance Scheme with Valpak (member RM00939) and therefore offer a Take back Scheme.
